Matroshka Housing

A concept i had been kicking around a while ago was of elevating the floors in a crappy apartment to create pull-up boards with storage below, but this project is a more efficient, and human friendly solution than mine.

Basically, It does the same thing, without sacrificing the sanity saving headspace from the rest of the room. Essentially, it provides an elevated space under which tables, chairs, beds, etc. can be stored when not in use. And the space itself is usable.

Additional plusses to this type of design:
-for home offices, provides a good mental and physical seperation of space
-storage not for storage space
-takes advantage of that space that we dont really use without diminishing its impression of openness.

enjoy,
-Zack
