Tiny House Village Network

This looks pretty interesting. Unfortunately, to join, you have to pay a "donation" of $10. I think that it's reasonable to charge a fee for the hosting of a network, but I'm also unsure as to what I will receive in return. Is it simply access to communication with other people in the network? How do I know if I will get more than what I can access on facebook?

Some new notes on our philosophies, as they develop:

Most homes that we live in today are designed to accommodate the objects in our life, rather than our own bodies. In order to create a design which demonstrates a better awareness of our bodies and how they move, we intend to consult ergonomists, kineseologists and even yoga specialists .

We've also been chatting about where our project falls in the greater picture. I think that the best thing we can do in researching and building a tiny home will be to provide a body of information and a communal network for people who may choose to go the tiny home route after us. By contributing to DIY culture and creative commons design, we are part of a larger movement that is in a position to alter our systems.

Tiny House Village Network

The tiny house village network has a brilliant idea. They're working to network tiny (mostly mobile) home owners with people willing to host them on their properties. This was my original plan for land to put the house on, so I'm so excited that someone is already on it.
